The story...

Karina was born in Mexico and raised in Germany. During one of our fabulous summer vacations, we were traveling through Europe along the coast of  France, Spain and Portugal, when our small family of 3 women was short of money.  Not having enough to return home to Germany, we decided to invest all the money we had left in buying  beads, teaching ourselves how to make necklaces and sold them on the beach. We were successful and decided to continue traveling like this for the rest of the summer. 

This unique experience stayed with us forever, and was the beginning of all our individual paths as artists.

Jewelry making came into my life and became an integral part of it at the age of 9. It has gone with me to all the places I have lived, through the stages of my life as a girl, a woman, a mother, and beyond... It has been an anchor and a pillar throughout my life. 

Exploring different mediums and techniques, I have traveled extensively, experienced the magnificence of nature, became one with the ocean in my sleep, evolved into an avid bead collector, both new and old, which have become the core of my inspiration.
